Alison Collins, soprano, has
sung roles including Gilda in Rigoletto, Marie in Fille du Régiment,
Musetta in La Bohème, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi,
Rosina from The Barber of Seville, and Adele in Die
Fledermaus. In concert she has sung soprano solos in Handel’s
Messiah, the Fauré
Requiem and Gounod Missa Solemnis. She has appeared with
opera companies and orchestras throughout the United States including
Sarasota Opera, Townsend Opera Players, Intermountain Opera Chamber
Ensemble, Opera San José, American Opera Projects, Stockton Opera
Association, Pocket Opera, Symphony Silicon Valley, and the Winchester
Orchestra. She is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of
Music. She received her master's in art in music from San José State
University, where she was named outstanding graduate student of the
School of Music and Dance, class of 2004. |
