Professor of Music Theory/Horn

William Shannon is Professor of Theory and Horn at Chabot College. He has a M.A. in Music with a specialty in Music Theory/Composition and a B.A. in Music with a specialty in Performance from California State University, Hayward. He has played the French Horn for over 40 years.  Bill has taught at Chabot and Los Medanos Colleges for over 17 years and has worked as a recording engineer and equipment technician at California State University, Hayward. He is an independent contractor in technical theater, primarily in electronic; theater lighting; and musical instrument repair, design and construction.
