Apply to the Dental Hygiene program

Admission to the Dental Hygiene program requires a separate application to be submitted. The application period is from November 1 to January 31.
When applying, all of the steps below are required to be completed successfully. Please review and familiarized yourself with the steps.

Step 1 - Apply to Chabot College

Apply online for admission to Chabot College.

Step 2 - Talk with a Counselor and Complete Prerequisites

All prerequisites must be completed to apply.

If you are interested in applying to our program, contact a counselor as soon as possible to assure all the prerequisites are met. You may have taken prerequisite courses at other colleges and it can be difficult to tell which courses are equivalent to ours. Therefore, talk to a counselor as soon as possible.

The following references can be used to check if you have completed the prerequites.

Chabot College also offers First Year Experience (FYE) programs that you may be qualified for. Speak with a counselor to see if this is right for you.
